The deploy of mobile value added services was taken heed to many years ago, yet the year 2009 will be considered as the very moment for network operators to make money.
This opinion is given on some bases: Once managing authorities have tighter control, sales promoting and off-price programs by enterprises in 2009 are no longer at their own convenience, and the race for market share is at satiation point, involving users to mobile added services will be a key factor for the operators to increase their turnover.
In the same year, the enterprises' competition for 3G license will reach the end and then 4 permits will find out their "proprietor". To be successful in supplying the 3G technology service, the mobile operators need to pay attention to a revolutionary investment in value added services.
Moreover, the third generation (3G) telecommunication technology is expected to be introduced in Vietnam in 2009. Mobile operators will carry out an abundance of value added service on 3G technology such as videophone, on-line video streaming and high-speed internet and music download.
