The 13th International Exhibition in Vietnam on Telecommunications and Information Technology ('Vietnam Telecomp 2010') / Vietnam International Internet & IT Exhibition 2010 ('Vietnam Internet & IT 2010') / International Exhibition on Electronics Products in Vietnam 2010 ('Vietnam Electronics 2010'), were held successfully at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) during 17-20 November, 2010. Around 200 exhibitors from 13 countries including Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, PR China, Singapore, Taiwan, United Kingdom, USA and Vietnam, showcased the latest technology, products and services in this one-stop sourcing platform. Officially supported by National Steering Committee on ICT, Vietnam as Steering Organization, sponsored by Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) and jointly organized by the Information & Public Relations Center of Vietnam Posts & Telecommunications Group (IPC-VNPT), Vietnam Association of Information Processing (VAIP) and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, the 4-day exhibition attracted 18709 visitors and provided opportunities for professionals in the telecommunications, Internet, IT and electronics industries to exchange business information.

Vietnam Telecomp/ Vietnam Internet & IT/ Vietnam Electronics 2010 received extensive support from the Government, Ministries and industry associations. Numerous key representatives attended the expos, symposia and networking activities including Dr. Do Trung Ta, Prime Minister's Envoy on ICT, Mr Le Nam Thang, Standing Vice Minister of Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), Mr Nguyen Minh Hong, Vice Minister of Ministry of Information and Communications, the government officials and representatives from Cambodia, Indonesia, Korea, Laos, Myanmar and the USA, plus the senior management from local telecom operators including EVN Telecom, Mobifone, SPT, Vinaphone and VNPT Group, which reflected the authoritative status of the trio expos in Vietnam and the region.

Widespread Support from Leading Telecom Operators, Brands and Pavilion Organizers

Being the largest industry events in Vietnam, Vietnam Telecomp / Vietnam Internet & IT / Vietnam Electronics 2010 received extensive support from local and overseas giant operators and multi-national renowned corporations including VNPT, EVN Telecom, Mobifone, SPT, Vinaphone, NTT DOCOMO, Orange France Telecom, PCCW Global, ADC, Amdocs, Cisco, Ericsson, Facebook, Global Electrical Technology Corporation, Hitachi Cable, HTC, Huawei, IBM, Nokia Siemens Networks, Sunsea, Tellabs, Q-Mobile, Rosenberger, ZTE and many more. Moreover, the expos received strong support and recognition from overseas country / industry pavilions including Singapore, China, Taiwan and USA. These pavilions brought groups of well-known enterprises, demonstrated high quality products and services as well as innovative ideas during the expos. What's more? “Taiwan Excellence” Showcase Pavilion, organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), supervised by Bureau of Foreign Trade, MOEA, Taiwan, totally brought 17 Taiwan top leading brands to the show such as A-DATA, ASUS, AVERMEDIA, BENQ, D-LINK, GENIUS, HITI, MSI, OPTOMA, TRANSCEND, etc.

High-Level Symposium to Provide Perfect Platform for Deep Industry Exchange

High-level symposia were held concurrently for industry professionals to discuss the industry's hottest issues including Vietnam ICT Development Today and Tomorrow, Internet Application in 3G Era and the Exploration of New Business Mode, The Beginning of a New Digital Entertainment Era, Innovative Technology in Mobile Internet and its Business Opportunities, Cloud Computing, IT Solutions, Social Networking and Digital Marketing. The organizers were honored to receive active participation from related ministries, regulators, operators and enterprises. Star speakers from Ministry of Information & Communications, Vietnam, Vietnam Posts & Telecommunications Group (VNPT), Ministry of Health, Vietnam, FPT Telecom, NTT DOCOMO Inc., VASC, PCCW Global, ZTE Corporation, Amdocs Vietnam, IBM Vietnam, Nokia Siemens Networks, Ericsson Vietnam, Facebook, Office of Vietnam Government, VDC, Cisco Systems Vietnam and VEIA, shared their ideas on these hottest topics. Among them, representative of Ministry of Information & Communications, Vietnam delivered detail introduction on the “ICT Development Orientations for the Period of 2010 – 2020 in Vietnam”. After the presentation, many enterprises reflected that they received a very clear direction on how they can contribute to the Vietnam ICT market in the 10 years Vietnam's ICT plan. The symposia were well attended by over 350 audiences and they were highly recognized as the unique, the most informative and professional ICT conferences in Vietnam.

Series of Awards were Presented during the Opening Banquet

To show the appreciation on the effort of the exhibitors, and recognize their contributions to the development of Vietnam ICT and electronics market, series of awards were presented during the Opening Banquet. Visitors and media friends were invited to be the judges by giving their important votes on Best Booth Design, Interactive Booth Design and Media Favorite Booth. The Best Booth Design Awards were given to Mobifone, Huawei and EVN for their attractive booth design, while the Most Interactive Booth Awards were given to Taiwan Excellence, ZTE and Vinaphone for their outstanding demonstration of products and services. Media Favorite Booth Awards were given to VNPT and NTT Docomo. Furthermore, Appreciation Awards were given to VNPT, Mobifone, Vinaphone, SPT, EVN and VTA to express gratitude to these long term supporting exhibitors.

Great Satisfaction from Exhibitors and Visitors

To maximize the participation effectiveness of the exhibitors, the organizers provided business consultancy service at the fairground, which was much welcomed and utilized by the exhibitors. In fact, exhibitors and visitors highly recognized the trio expos as an effective platform to get business contacts and orders. 85% of exhibitors indicated that they will participate or consider participation in the next show.

Meanwhile, over 80% of visitors indicated that they achieved the objectives of visiting the trio expos, which included to meet suppliers and potential buyers, gather overseas product information and latest information of ICT/ electronic industry.

Lastly, the Organizing Committees of Vietnam Telecomp / Vietnam Internet & IT/ Vietnam Electronics announced Vietnam International Communications Summit & Expo 2011 (Vietnam Comm 2011), Vietnam International Internet & IT Exhibition 2011 (Vietnam Internet & IT 2011) and International Exhibition on Electronics Products in Vietnam 2011 (Vietnam Electronics 2011) will be held during November 16 - 19, 2011 at Vietnam Exhibition & Fair Centre, Hanoi, SR Vietnam. The next edition is expected to achieve even greater success and will continue to contribute to Vietnam's ICT & electronic market.
